What is GNM course?
This four-year degree programme in Nursing is an extensively laced out programme within an academic framework specifically focussed to prepare graduates who can assume responsibilities in the healthcare sector as professional and competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. Subjects like Foundational Nursing, Surgical and Community Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Midwifery and Obstetrical Nursing form the foundation of this course.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must pass (10+2) examination from any recognized Board/Council in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with at least 45% in aggregate (5% relaxation for reserved category).
- Age Between 17 to 35 years as on 31st December, Year of admission.
- Only female candidates who are physically and mentally fit to undergo training are eligible to apply.
